On Sunday morning, Mr. Riyad Salah Al-Jahouri, Governor’s consultant for Youth Affairs, inaugurated a training course for young leaders in good governance and the Principles of Democracy (TOT), organized and funded by Dar Al Ma’arif for Research and Statistics at its headquarters in Mukalla from the (18th-22th) of December. 25 trainees are participating from different governorates of Hadramout (Sahel and Wadi), Aden, Al-Mahra and Socotra .
In his speech, he said ” young people are the basis of development and construction and they are who we place our hopes on to build and renaissance Hadramout away from partisan”, emphasizing that the local authority in the governorate led by Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Breek, pay a great attention to the youth development.
Al-Jahouri spoke to youth, saying ” we want you to help in the development of Hadramout, and waiting for you to present the visions and outputs of this important course, we thank the management of Dar Al Ma’arif for Research and Statistics for organizing this course, which we need it all.”
Mr. Abdulaziz Saleh Jaber, the vice chairman ad executive director of al-Dar, welcomed the Governor’s consultant, who attend the inauguration of the course, ensuring that this reflects the local authority’s concern to serve the youth. He thanked all the young men and women who have been chosen, responded to the invitation and participate in this course from the different regions of Hadramout, Sahel, valley, al- Mahara, Socotra and Aden.
Mr. Abdul Aziz said that, this course is the base of al-Dar’s courses and activites, which is the first course that is inaugurated at the headquarters of al-Dar. This title was chosen to consolidate the concept of democracy and good governance. Democracy is not only a rule and it came in order to respond the urgent need of Hadramout and this is one of the objectives of Dar Al-Ma’arif, which seeks to achieve them in the scientific and research aspect and to form a general opinion based on scientific research and building the vacuum in this field And the creation of a public opinion based on scientific research, and to fulfill the vacuum in this field, adding that Dar Al-Ma’arif’s administration will make use of its relations abroad with institutions and organizations to serve Hadramout and the country. He said, “we are not a political or partisan party. We will work with everyone in line with the objectives of al-Dar.”
Over five days, the participants of the trainer, Eng. Raida Saeed Royishd, are learning the concept of democracy with its characteristics and images, the concept and principles of good governance, And governance systems and the state with its elements, forms, characteristics and functions and the constitution concept.
