Dar Al Ma’arif is a member of the fact-finding and Investigation Committee for the existence of secret prisons:

This morning at the volunteering club, Mr. Saeed Abdullah Bukran, chairman of Dar Al Ma’arif  for Research and Statistics, attended a press conference organized by the fact-finding and Investigation Committee for the allegations of secret prisons in the Hadramout Governorate, which he was a presentative of al-Dar as it is a member of the committee which started its work on Sunday morning. (7/7/2017) and continued to visit the sites mentioned in the reports issued by the organizations that they are considered secret prisons (Presidential Palace – Rabwa – Dhuba – al-Rayan).

Dar Al-Ma’arif for Research and Statistics was keen to be exist in all the field visits of the committee, which lasted four days in a row, which ended with a meeting with Maj. Gen. Faraj Salemin al-Behesni, the governor of the province and commander of the second military zone, who confirmed that the elite forces are official military forces under the command of the region, And that the local authority seeks to activate the judicial role in the prosecution and specialized courts to refer detainees and complete all their legal procedures
