On Wednesday morning in the city of Mukalla, Mr. Saeed Bakran, chairman of Dar Al-Ma’arif for Research and Statistics, met with Dr. Khalid Bawadi, director of the Center for Environmental Studies and Water Resources. In the meeting, Mr. Said Bakran reviewed the activities of al-Dar during the last period and the future activities and programs. furthermore, al-Dar is considered the only competent entity that hosts researchers in the field of statistics in Hadramout.

The two sides discussed a number of common issues, mainly the framing and development of the joint cooperation between al-Dar and the Center in order to build a real partnership to achieve mutual benefits for the two sides and help to improve the field of research and statistics. They also discussed the areas that can achieve effective partnership especially in the field of data and environmental researches.

In turn, the chairman of Dar Al Ma’arif for Research and Statistics expressed his willing to cooperate and partnership with the Center in opening new doors in various fields during the coming period.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdul Aziz Jaber, vice chairman of al-Dar and the executive director and Mr. Muthana Badriss, director of activities and programs at al-Darand researcher Eng. Fahd Al- Sumahi.
