Mr. Saeed Abdullah Bakran, chairman of Dar Al Ma’arif for Research and Statistics, met with Eng. Fahad Abdullah Baashen, chairman of Hadramout Foundation for Invention and Scientific Progress. The meeting discussed means of joint cooperation between the two sides. Eng. Baashen reviewed some of the programs and projects carried out by the Foundation in the field of invention, innovation and scientific research, He also reviewed some of the activities of the scientific centers of the Foundation and the Academy of Technology and Creativity, which carries out training courses for young people, pointing out that among the research programs is Zewail,a scientific research program and Astrolab, a program for Aerospace Sciences, which specialized in training cadres on the management of natural disasters and other programs and activities that serve the development of society.

In turn, the Chairman of Dar Al-Ma’arif for Research and Statistics expressed his willing to cooperate and partnership with the Hadramout Foundation for Invention and Scientific Progress, especially in terms of the scientific research aspects and the helding of seminars and joint workshops in this field of research to contribute to finding solutions to some social problems in Hadramout governorate.

In the meeting, they also discussed the initialization of an agreement for cooperation and partnership between the two sides during the coming period.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Salem Faraj Bamsaud, director of Hadramout Center for Natural and Applied Sciences and Mr. Ashraf Ahmed Bajbeer, director of Public Relations and Media at Hadramout Foundation for Invention and Scientific Progress.
